There is essentially no difference between an offshore
company and a company incorporated onshore. The location of incorporation of a
company does not change what a company is and what it can and cannot do. The
corporate laws from country to country is what is different.
Generally, individuals will decide to incorporate in the most beneficial
jurisdiction for what they plan to use their company for. This jurisdiction may
be offshore or onshore. However, there is still a perception that there is a big
difference with an offshore company itself.
If someone says there is a difference, it would be like saying that you are a
different kind of human depending on the country where you were born. While some may
believe that, we are basically all the say.
